Do you travel?

Yes! All areas outside of Charlotte, NC are subject to a travel fee of $0.65/mi roundtrip.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Just let me know in advance, as I may have another client scheduled after your appointment! Each additional 30 min is $25. This does not apply to studio photoshoots!

Question 3

What is the turnaround time for images?

Accepted Answer

A personal online gallery will be sent to you within 72 hrs after your shoot for you to select your proofs to be edited and sent back to you. Edited photos are returned within 7 business days. For larger events, i.e special events, timing is subject to change. If you need your photos sooner, a rush fee of $85 can be added and billed to you upon request.

What does your rush fee entail?

You can add a rush fee to any package. The rush fee is $85 for a 48 hour turnaround!

If I cancel, is my deposit refunded?

All deposits are non-refundable, however, if you need to reschedule, please contact me for availability!

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

I suggest that clients book at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability. Certain seasons are peak seasons (especially graduation) so the earlier, the better! (Peak seasons: late March-May & late October-December)

This is my first photoshoot! Can you help me with posing?

I sure can! I know how nerve wrecking picture taking can be so I do my absolute best to make sure you feel as confident and comfortable as possible! I'll give you direction every step of the way.

Question 8

What does your editing process entail?

Accepted Answer

I professionally edit your photos to include color correction, contrast, exposure, and a soft retouch. This soft retouch is to remove blemishes, soften your skin, brighten your teeth and make small makeup adjustments. I do not adjust your weight, reverse natural signs of aging, or alter your physical features and markings.

How do I pay my remaining balance?

After you have scheduled your appointment, you can pay your remaining balance by returning to your previous appointment reminder email and clicking the pay button.

What does the Marked X Mike style feature entail 🧵🪡

If you book a styling consultation with my stylist Mike, he will contact you directly and ask you specific questions to determine your style or look that you desire! He will then create a moodboard of pieces that he would recommend for your shoot. He will get all of your correct sizing and measurements and provide you with those pieces tailored to your specified budget. He'll literally do all of the hard work for you!

What forms of payment do you accept?

Accepted Answer

I accept cash, PayPal, Square and all major debit/credit cards. All payments should be made via my booking site or direct invoice.

What days are you available to shoot?

Accepted Answer

I am available to shoot on Monday, Wednesday-Saturday of the week! I do not shoot on Tuesdays and Sundays as those are my off days. Please refer to my booking calendar below to see what times are available!

What if it rains?

Rain is the worst on shoot days! When booking, I ask that you provide at least two dates that work for you; just in case if it happens to rain, we will have another date to reschedule.

Can I come up with the location, or do you decide?

I am open to hearing your suggestions! I have a list of locations in Columbia, Rock Hill, and Charlotte, NC that I am more than happy to provide as well.

Can I have more than one location for a shoot?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I just have to be notified prior to the day of the shoot. An additional fee may be added to your session for travel expenses and your package may be altered to accomodate any time changes.

Do you deliver raw photos?

To ensure that you are receiving my highest quality of work, I do not send out any raw photos. However, if you can't seem to narrow it down (we've all been there 😩) and want additional edits, you can select your additional favorites to be edited & returned for $15/photo.

Can I choose my favorite images to be edited, or do you pick them?

You will receive a link to view your proofs within 72 hrs after your shoot. Proofs are low quality, watermarked versions of your high quality photos. You will be able to choose your own favorites to be edited and returned.

What happens if I'm running late?

Accepted Answer

I understand, things happen! I have a 15-minute grace period for all shoots. Every 15 minutes after the grace period you will be charged an inconvenience fee of $15 and your shoot will conclude at its original time. Keep in mind, no additional time will be added during our session for any time missed!

Do you offer videography?

I don't offer videography services of any kind, but I'd be happy to send you some recommendations!

Can my pets be included in the photoshoot?

Yes! (Friendly) furry friends of any size are more than welcome. I just ask that you notify me beforehand so that I can make sure that they are permitted at our shooting location!

I do not provide any props outside of stools/seating during studio sessions, however some studios have various props available to use free of charge! Any additional (specific) items are to be purchased by the client for the photoshoot. Feel free to contact me if you have questions!

If we shoot outdoors, how will I be able to change?

I bring a changing tent (very spacious) and a wagon to all of my shoots so you don't have to worry about carrying anything or changing!

Can I order prints through you?

Yes! You can select your favorite images that you would like to be printed, let me know the sizes and I will print and have them delivered to you for an additional fee!

What are your COVID-19 protocols?

Photos By Faith is doing everything we can to protect you. To this extent, we will be following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local health department guidelines with regard to social distancing practices in order to reduce the spread of Coronavirus, or COVID-19. This will require our staff and volunteers to maintain six (6) feet of distance between ourselves and you, the CLIENT, as much as possible. We will also be requiring this same procedure for client-to-client contact in order to limit the exposure to all individuals. We will wear masks to reduce the risk of exposure to yourself and others. If at any time you experience any symptoms prior to your appointment, we strongly encourage you to stay home and reach out to Faith to reschedule your appointment.
